All Disney Soccer Tournaments Include:

Eligibility:

This is an FYSA Sanctioned Tournament, which is open to all USSF affiliated organizations for boys in age groups: U15-U18. Open to state cup or higher level teams. At the end of the application period, a Sports Sales Manager will review all applications and notify your team of its status as soon as possible.

Note about eligibility/age requirements:The player's playing age is determined by the following USYSA guidelines for 2013/2014.

VERY IMPORTANT: When applying please make sure to use your most, up to date GOT Soccer team account. Got Soccer will be the primary source for reviewing a team's tournament and league history.

Teams who apply with little or no history will be declined immediately, but eligible to re-apply using their primary GOT Soccer account.

All teams must submit an online application. A Soccer Sales Manager will review all applications and notify your team of its status as soon as possible. Upon acceptance into the tournament, your team entry fee must be paid in full immediately to guarantee your spot. Entry fees are non-refundable. In the event your team must withdraw from the tournament, you must notify the tournament director in writing at least 60 days prior to the tournament date and you will be allowed to transfer your entry fee to a future event.

Please follow the below checklist to complete your registration and prepare to compete!

You are required to submit signed Disney Sports Waivers for each team member and coach that will be listed on your official team roster.

Online Roster

MANDATORY: All teams must enter their rosters complete with bench personnel into the tournaments on-line scheduling system no later than 21 days prior to start of event. The minimum required information is Name, Date of Birth, player ID number, Uniform number and gender. Revisions can be made to the roster up the night of team registration. This information will appear on the tournament game reports to be used by the referees for check-in on the field prior to each game. Teams failing to input this information are subject to removal from the event.

Sanctioning/Player Cards

FYSA AND USSF SANCTIONING

This tournament is sanctioned by FYSA and USSF. In order to participate, all players and coaches are required to have a current USSF/USYSA/FYSA or their Affiliates Player/Coach Pass Card. If you are not a member of any of these organizations please call (800) 4-SOCCER to obtain membership information.

SANCTIONING RULES FOR FYSA TEAMS

In order to participate in this tournament all FYSA teams must be in "Good Standing". Please submit for approval a copy of your official FYSA computer-generated roster.

SANCTIONING RULES FOR NON-FLORIDA TEAMS

In order to participate in this tournament all USYS and other USSF affiliates must be in "Good Standing" and obtain Permission to Travel* from their State/National Association. Please send a copy of your completed Approved/Certified Roster along with your Permission to Travel to our office at least 21 days prior to the event.

**Permission to Travel is not required from teams registered with US Club Soccer.

In order to participate in this tournament all teams from outside the United States must have written permission and verification from US Soccer and their country's Federation indicating authorization to participate in the Disney Youth Tournament. Please send a copy of your completed Approved/Certified Roster, your Permission to Travel and Proof of Insurance to our office at least 30 days prior to the event. International teams (players and coaches) will be required to present passports at registration.

    • Disney Soccer events shall require all teams participating in the tournament to provide medical releases for each player in an appropriate form. Most organizations/clubs/leagues/teams have their own forms. These are acceptable for Disney Soccer events. These authorizations shall be reviewed by Disney Soccer at registration and kept in the possession of a team official.

Your information will be provided to coaches that are looking for guest players. Remember, in order to participate, all players and coaches are required to have a current USSF or their Affiliates Player/Coach Pass Card.

IMPORTANT: Due to the different rules and regulations for guest players throughout the many USYS State Associations and other National Governing Bodies (NGB) it is the responsibility of the players and coaches involved to make sure all the required forms and documents are provided to the tournament. If in doubt contact the State Associations/NGB involved.

What caliber teams participate in the Disney Soccer Showcase?
State Champion quality and above.
Where can I find a list of accepted teams?
A complete list of participating teams will be posted on the web site on Monday, September 16th.
When are schedules available and where do I find them?
Schedules will be available in early November and will be posted on our web site and available in your teams GOT SOCCER account.
Is there a separate registration for the boys and girls?
Yes, the boys' check-in registration is on Thursday, December 26th, from 5-9pm at the host hotel Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.  The girls' registration is on Monday, December 30th, from 6-9pm at the host hotel Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.
When will the finals be played?
All finals will be kicked off no later than 3:30pm on Monday, December 30th (boys) and Friday, January 3rd (girls).Please plan your return travel accordingly!
How do I book my accommodations for the Showcase?  How do I contact them?

When and where is the Showcase reception for the Club/College coaches, referees and VIP's?
There will be a  reception held at the Hilton Bonnet Creek Hotel on Saturday, December 28th and Wednesday January 1st at time TBD.  (Coaches, Managers, DOC's, referees, and VIP's only! No players.)

Can my team play with US Club Soccer player passes?
Yes, any USSF affiliate passes are acceptable.
What are the game suspension rules for a red card?
Red Card suspensions will be per FYSA Rule 502. NO exceptions
Do Red Cards count against me in the scoring to advance?
Red Cards only come into play as one of the last tie-breakers when deciding which teams advance. Tournament Rules
Can a player participate with an orthopedic cast?
NO!  Per FYSA Rule 402.2.b
Will we be able to increase our roster size to 22 per the new guidelines for State Cup play in the U16, U17 & U18 age groups?
 YES, only 18 can dress and play each game.
Are there off-site facilities used?  Are spectator tickets required at off-sites?

From Victory Way take a right onto Osceola Parkway
Merge right onto I-4 W toward Tampa - follow for approximately 21 miles.
Take exit 44 (DC 559) toward Polk City/Auburndale
On the exit ramp, take a left to continue to FL-559 S - follow .8 miles
Turn right at CR 559A & follow 1.8 miles.
At the fork in the road, veer off left onto Berkley Road.
Follow for 3.8 miles & turn right into the complex at Lake Myrtle Rd.

What are the substitution rules for the Showcase?
Boys Showcase: New for this year's event. Non USSF DA flights with have NO RE-ENTRY BY HALF or OVERTIME. USSF DA flights will continue with the NO RENTRY RULE
Girls Showcase: Same as last year NO RE-ENTRY BY HALF or OVERTIME.

Can U19 players participate in the Boy's and Girl's Showcase event?
U19 players are eligible to play as long as they meet the following tournament rule, "This event was developed as a showcase for players to be seen by college coaches. The under 19 player must currently be enrolled in high school or not affiliated with, in any way, a collegiate program. If you are not sure of a player's eligibility ask, in writing, the Tournament Director.
Do I have to input my rosters into the on-line scheduling program?
YES, all teams are required (mandatory) to input their rosters into GOT SOCCER. These rosters will be included in the referee game reports for use on the field. They will be crossed checked against your approved association roster.
How far up until the actual event can the roster be changed?
There is no problem adjusting your roster; you can do so up until on-site registration as long as any new players have appropriate documentations. US Club rosters are accepted by us and please make sure all players are updated online in GOT SOCCER.
Players and information added after December 10th might not be included in the College Coaches profile book
Do I have to pay at registration?
No, after you have been accepted into the event you will receive an invoice. This is when you are required to pay in full the event fee, two weeks after official acceptance.
Will player profiles for college coaches be made available at the event?
As part of the on-line rosters inputted by the teams the U15-U18 age groups will have the opportunity to build a player profile that will be available on-line before, during and after the event. An abbreviated version will be distributed to all coaches upon them checking in at the event. To be included in the College Coaches Profile Book all information must be inputted into the on-line system by December 10th.
Are USSF DA teams eligible to participate?
Yes, we have approval from USSF.
How or what guidelines are used to select teams for the event?
We look at the team's history over the past 12 months in competitive events.  We look at league play, Premier League play, State Cup, tournaments, club history, previous Disney performances, and coach recommendations.  We also use GOT SOCCER team rankings as a guideline only. 
Are there fields available for teams to have a training session before the event?
We do not have any available due to the pre-tournament preparations. We suggest contacting a local high school or club.
What are FYSA's rules for the allowing players of other National Governing Bodies (NGBs) to guest play on their teams or for FYSA players to guest play for teams registered by other NGBs?
FYSA does not allow other NGB's players to guest play on their teams only FYSA or USYS affiliated players. A US Club player may not guest play on a FYSA team. A FYSA player can only guest play for an FYSA or USYS team.

  • This is an FYSA Sanctioned Tournament, which is open to all USSF affiliated organizations for boys in age groups: U15-U18. Open to state cup or higher level teams. At the end of the application period, a Sports Sales Manager will review all applications and notify your team of its status as soon as possible.
