Disney's Club Championships
Disney Soccer introduces Disney's Club Championships

February 15 -18, 2013

Disney Soccer introduces Disney's Club Championships which is an invitational tournament that will take place during the 2013 Disney's President's Day Soccer Festival, February 15-18, 2013 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World® Resort. The event is designed to allow clubs with competitive teams to compete against other clubs for the right to be declared Disney Club Champion.

In this event, boys and girls in age groups U13 through U18/19 will have meaning as the teams work toward the ultimate goal - Disney Club Champion. All divisions will have recognized Champions but it will be the overall success of the teams in the different divisions that will determine which club will be the Disney Club Champion.

In the inaugural year four (4) Disney Club Champions will be crowned:

  • Boys U13, U14, U15 Junior Club Champion
  • Girls U13, U14, U15 Junior Club Champion
  • Boys U16, U17, U18/19 Senior Club Champion
  • Girls U16, U17, U18/19 Senior Club Champion

To be eligible for Disney's Club Championships, clubs are required to place three teams within one of the four groups and a maximum of twelve if you would like to enter all four Championship categories. Disney Club Champion will be decided based on the top performing teams of that club within each of the four groups.

An integral part of the Disney's Club Championships will be special invitations sent to college coaches throughout the country to come and witness this completion. This will create an opportunity for clubs competing for the title of Disney Club Champion to be seen by college coaches.

Special awards will be provided to the Disney Club Champion clubs that will extend beyond the event. Additional details on awards coming soon.

We look forward to seeing you in February!
