In the event that an Age Division Bracket does not attain an adequate number of registered teams, the Tournament Director shall notify those registered teams as soon as possible. The teams will be given the option of playing up or receiving a full refund.

Upon acceptance into the tournament, your team entry fee must be paid in full immediately to guarantee your spot. Entry fees are non-refundable. In the event your team must withdraw from the tournament, you must notify the tournament director in writing at least 30 days prior to the tournament date and you will be allowed to transfer your entry fee to a future event.

Requirements

International Teams - Requirements

  • All international teams must stay at the Walt Disney World® Resort and purchase a registration package for each athlete, coach and spectator on the team with a Disney Sport representative.
  • All teams must be confirmed and fully paid no later than April 30th, 2012 to take advantage of the Promotional discount package.
  • Each team is limited to a maximum 18 athletes for 11v11. 14 athletes for 8v8 and 12 athletes for 6v6
  • Travel partners must are responsible for the entire groups registration, documentation and necessary invoices for payment.
  • The travel partner will be responsible to secure from Disney and provide teams with package components to include: theme park tickets, length of event tickets for spectators to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and wristbands for transportation.

Booking Processs

Step 1: Contact the Disney Sports international group sales department, Leonardo Leite (Leonardo.Leite@disney.com) – phone 407 938-3567 to be qualified into the tournament with the information for how many rooms and nights will be needed for the participants.

Step 2: After receiving your tournament contract, sign and return by fax (407 938-3479) with the payment for the first night of your room block to assure participation. A Disney Sports representative will work with your team contact and travel partner to complete the "on-line" tournament application process.

Step 3: Submit paperwork to participate of the tournament: Room List, waiver, medical form, and copy of passport, proof of health insurance Player cards (online) and representation letter to ensure participation.

Step 4: All payments are due 45 days prior the group's (team's) arrival. Payments can be made via wire transfer, credit card or approved company check. Late payments are subject to extra fees.

Important Dates

TEAM REGISTRATION DEADLINES

  • All international teams must be fully registered before June 1st, 2013.

TEAM VISA ASSISTANCE

  • Only teams that have a signed contract with deposit are eligible to receive Visas assistance. Dead line for visas assistance is May 15th, 2013.

TEAM CONTRACT DEPOSIT

  • The group or team have 1 month from the date the contract was sent out to return the contract signed with the group deposit payment.

TEAM FULL PAYMENT

  • Full payment must be received before June 1st, 2013
  • Teams that finalize all payments after June 1st, 2013 will be subjected to late fees, forfeit of deposit, and other penalties that could include cancellation from the tournament.

TEAM ROOM LIST

  • Need to be sent By June 15th, 2013 using the excel spreadsheet sent by Disney.

TEAM DOCUMENTATION

  • Need to be sent By June 15th, 2013
  • Copy of passport
  • Medical form and waiver signed

Camps & Clinics

Disney Soccer Academy Pre-Tournament Camp Options
Teams participating in the Disney Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament may participate in the Disney Soccer Academy. Teams can select from a half-day camp, full-day camp or a private training session for the whole team.

Full-Day and Half-Day Camp
Dynamic camp curriculum led by high-energy, licensed coaches from around the world. Focus on technical development and small-sided games.

Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13
Half Day (9:00 am – 11:30 am) - $50 per athlete/day
Full Day (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) - $75 per athlete/day

Private Training Session
Coaches can secure a field at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for their team to train with a Disney Soccer Academy coach for 2 hours on either Friday, July 12 or Saturday, July 13. Cost: $30 per player (minimum of 8 players required).

Team Parent Reception

Your team's planner and a Guest are invited to attend an optional welcome reception designed to help you maximize your role and team experience. It will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Grill at 9:00 am on the following dates:

Sanctioning/Player Cards

FYSA AND USSF SANCTIONING

This tournament is sanctioned by FYSA and USSF. In order to participate, all players and coaches are required to have a current USSF/USYSA/FYSA or their Affiliates Player/Coach Pass Card. If you are not a member of any of these organizations please call (800) 4-SOCCER to obtain membership information.

SANCTIONING RULES FOR FYSA TEAMS

In order to participate in this tournament all FYSA teams must be in "Good Standing". Please submit for approval a copy of your official FYSA computer-generated roster.

SANCTIONING RULES FOR NON-FLORIDA TEAMS

In order to participate in this tournament all USYS and other USSF affiliates must be in "Good Standing" and obtain Permission to Travel* from their State/National Association. Please send a copy of your completed Approved/Certified Roster along with your Permission to Travel to our office at least 30 days prior to the event.

Application to Host Form

*A certified US club roster will serve as permission to travel for US club teams.

In order to participate in this tournament all teams from outside the United States must have written permission and verification from their country's Federation indicating authorization to participate in the Disney Youth Tournament. Please send a copy of your completed Approved/Certified Roster, your Permission to Travel and Proof of Insurance to our office at least 30 days prior to the event. International teams (players and coaches) will be required to present passports at registration.

    Disney Sports Adult Waiver

    Disney Soccer events shall require all teams participating in the tournament to provide medical releases for each player in an appropriate form. Most organizations/clubs/leagues/teams have their own forms. These are acceptable for Disney Soccer events. These authorizations shall be reviewed by Disney Soccer at registration and kept in the possession of a team official.

Credentials

Credentials will be distributed at Registration. To receive credentials, each team must have already paid their Tournament Entry Fee and must present their completed Disney Sports Waiver forms. To minimize your process time at Registration, please send this information to Disney Sports by June 1, 2012 Minors (under age 18) must have a parent or legal guardian sign the Release and Indemnity section of the waiver. Coaches may pick up credentials for the entire team by providing the proper documents for verification. The credential specifies the areas of ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex participants can enter as well as the dates of validity. Once received, the credential must be visible to gain admittance. Credentials are non-transferable. If a credential is lost or stolen, it will be necessary to pay a replacement fee.

Your information will be provided to coaches that are looking for guest players. Remember, in order to participate, all players and coaches are required to have a current USSF or their Affiliates Player/Coach Pass Card.

  • IMPORTANT: Due to the different rules and regulations for guest players throughout the many USYS State Associations and other National Governing Bodies (NGB) it is the responsibility of the players and coaches involved to make sure all the required forms and documents are provided to the tournament. If in doubt contact the State Associations/NGB involved.
COACHES:

If you are interested in adding a guest player to your team please follow the steps outlined below to access and add available guest players. Remember, in order to participate, all players and coaches are required to have a current USSF or their Affiliates Player/Coach Pass Card.
