TEAM ENTRY FEES AND DEADLINES
$600 received between May 16 - September 30, 2012 (Apply early and save!)
$775 received between October 1 - January 15, 2013
* In order to operate a golf cart at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses, a participant must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver's license/learner's permit. Any participant that does not meet the age requirement will not be permitted to operate a golf cart and will need a person of proper age to drive along with them.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event a team must cancel their visit for 2013 Disney Golf Spring Training, please use the following timeline:
- We must be notified in writing by January 18, 2013. (This policy is in effect regardless of the date when your team actually registered for the event. Subject to change as determined by Disney).
ONLINE REGISTRATION
All teams will register through our online registration and scheduling system, gotsport.com. Teams will need to enter a username and password to begin the application process. (Each team will need to have a separate ID and Password.)
Accepted teams will be able to access this system throughout the process by signing in at gotsport.com
The Disney Golf Team will do their best to accommodate each team's special needs. Requests are not guaranteed.
PowerChalk Video Analysis
Disney Spring Training includes select team video analysis subscription(s) provided by PowerChalk.com., at no cost. In our continuing efforts to provide world-class tools and facilities for your team, PowerChalk will provide each Disney Spring Training team with the following subscription services.
Athletes - Each Disney Spring Training athlete will receive a twelve (12) month subscription to the PowerChalk.com video analysis service that includes the following options and features:

Disney Spring Training Speed & Agility Clinic is designed to give you the training you need to achieve greater speed, more agility, improved strength and increased mobility that'll take your game to the next level. Dream Team Donation Program
We are excited to be working with Charity Get Away on a donation program that will award a Walt Disney World® Resort vacation to ten lucky donors. This "Dream Team" random drawing donation program ("Donation Program") allows your team to leverage the excitement of your upcoming ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex experience and share with family, friends and your community. What's better than offering supporters the chance to be on their own road to Disney?
"Dream Team" Grand Prize Winners of the Donation Program receive (subject to standard restrictions and official rules):

In order to participate in Disney Golf Spring Training all players and coaches are required to purchase the minimum Spring Training hotel and theme park ticket package.
Player and coach packages include:
- Minimum 4-nights accommodations at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.
- Minimum 2-Day Magic Your Way Ticket which entitles you to Admission to one of the following theme parks for each day of the Ticket:
- Magic Kingdom® Park
- Epcot®
- Disney's Hollywood Studios
- Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park
- Minimum 3 rounds of golf on Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Course, including (1) bucket of range ball per person
Leave the Transportation to Us!
Transportation is included when you stay at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. When you stay in either of these Disney resorts, two great programs will cover all of your Spring Training transportation needs. Disney's Magical Express will get you from Orlando International Airport to your Disney resort and back, and the Disney Shuttle/Taxi service will get you from the hotel to Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses and back each day. Teams will be able to request a ride at the Valet Desk or from Bell Services at Resort hotels, and in the Pro Shop or from any golf operations staff members at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses .
Once you register your team and book your golf rounds, your information will be forwarded to a Disney Sports Travel agent who will contact you to verify your requests and begin the booking process.
A package deposit of $200.00 per room is due 14 days after initial booking.
Spectators traveling with your team can take advantage of the same specially-priced hotel and theme park ticket packages that are available for players and coaches. Your Disney Sports Travel agent can also assist with ticket upgrades, additional room nights, vehicle rentals, and airfare options.

Resort Refillable Beverage Mugs - $16.50 per person per each
Breakfast includes a choice of ONE (1) non-alcoholic beverage and ONE (1) breakfast platter or bakery item/side dish. Photography
Capture every exciting moment of your competition with the ESPN Wide World of Sports Gameday Photos Service. You can register your team for a Team Photo CD for only $5 per athlete. Your entire team must add this option to their travel package in order for this discounted rate to apply.
The price includes a Team Photo CD for one game or practice (minimum of 150 photos). Additional games/practices are available for purchase. Photographers will be scheduled to photograph at our discretion during Disney Spring Training. Schedules are subject to change due to weather, game delays and other unforseen circumstances. Competition Venues
Experience the natural beauty of the Florida woodlands at Disney's Palm Golf Course. This majestic course is both a pleasure to play, as well as an exciting test of skill. Golfers will appreciate the course design, which features shimmering lakes and tropical sands, all across a golf landscape that's dotted with strategically placed palm trees.
Elevated greens, 9 water holes, 94 bunkers plus a fair sprinkling of water and woods make this course distinctive. As you play, you may encounter deer and other wildlife. Disney's Palm Golf Course is the site of one part of the PGA Tour's Children's Miracle Network Classic each year. The course provides plenty of challenges for novice players and seasoned pros alike. Disney's Palm Golf Course has received an excellent rating of 4 stars by Golf Digest.
The beautifully manicured links of Disney's Magnolia Golf Course are named for the abundance of fragrant blossoming magnolia trees that make this course truly magnificent. The course design masterfully uses the area's natural features to enhance the beauty of the lush, rolling greens and sparkling water hazards—all for a course deserving of its excellent 4 star-rating by Golf Digest.
Disney's Magnolia Golf Course features wide fairways dotted with 97 bunkers. It represents a paradise for serious golfers, as well as a thrilling challenge for players at all levels. Step onto the first tee and into the shoes of champions. You'll find yourself powering your way down sweeping fairways at this, the home to the final rounds of the Children's Miracle Network Classic. Disney's Osprey Ridge Golf Course at Walt Disney World® Resort features dramatic golf holes that cut through stands of live oak, pine, palmetto, cypress and bay trees. Recognized as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuary, the surrounding vegetation and wetlands serve as a breathtaking backdrop for a championship course that blends all the majesty of nature with the superb design by Tom Fazio. Transportation
If staying at Disney's All Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort it is not necessary to arrange transportation. Disney's Magical Express is now available. This program provides transportation to and from Orlando International Airport to any Disney Resort.
Also available this year is transportation to and from the Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses and Disney's All-Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Transportation via taxi to and from Disney's All-Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is provided at no charge. You may request a ride at the Valet Desk or from Bell Services at Resort hotels, and in the Pro Shop or from any golf operations staff members at the Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses.
If you do not choose to stay at Disney's All Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort you will need to arrange for your own transportation to and from Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses. As always, there are complimentary Disney buses available to transport players, coaches and spectators to and from Disney Resorts and between Disney theme park and attractions.

Roster
You may add or take off players from your roster/rooming list. All changes require a phone call to your sports travel representative by calling 407-939-7810 option #3.
However, every player must complete a Sports Waiver Form prior to arrival (minors must have a parent or legal guardian's signature) and purchase a package.
Rules
Golf Carts In order to operate a golf cart at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses, a participant must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver's license/learner's permit. Any participant that does not meet the age requirement will not be permitted to operate a golf cart and will need a person of proper age to drive along with them.
Attire In order to provide the best possible putting surfaces, Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses are non-metal spike facilities. Golf shoes with metal spike alternatives, or tennis shoes, are permitted. Proper golf attire is also required on all our golf courses. For men, this includes polo-style shirts with collars, turtlenecks or mock turtleneck shirts, slacks or Bermuda-length shorts. For women, proper attire consists of polo-style shirts with collars or other suitable shirts or blouses with or without collars, slacks, skirts or Bermuda-length shorts.ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL COACHES
It is imperative that you know your state regulations prior to participating in Disney Golf Spring Training. Each school is responsible for abiding by their state high school athletic association rules, guidelines, and/or policies (i.e. season start dates, limit on the number of rounds per day, etc.).

Packages
Who exactly needs to purchase the participant packages?
All players, coaches and athletic staff traveling with the team are required to purchase a participant package. Rooming lists will be cross-checked with the Sports Waiver Forms to verify the total number of credentials each team receives.
Do you offer any packages for family or fans (spectators)?
Yes! Spectator packages are available for anyone traveling to watch and support your team. These packages are the same as the participant package with the addition of admission into ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Please call Disney Sports Travel at 407-939-7810 option #3, for more information.
Do the spectator packages also include golf?
Yes! Spectator packages do include a minimum of three (3) golf rounds at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses.
Can I exchange or save my unused golf rounds or transfer them to someone else?
No. All golf rounds must be played during the team's participation in Golf Spring Training. Golf Rounds may not be exchanged or transferred to other participants or spectators.
Guests wishing to book a package that does not include golf may book the regular spring training package. Please call Disney Sports Travel at 407-939-7810 option #3, for more information.
Can the Park Ticket in the package be upgraded to another ticket?
Yes it can! Your Disney Sports Travel Agent can explain the options for upgrading and help you choose what best fits your needs during your spring training trip. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Parks and DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park Tickets are also available.
Does the Magic Your Way Base Theme Park Ticket need to be used on consecutive days, or can it be spread out over a number of days?

Roster and Rooming List
If my team roster hasn't been established (i.e. because tryouts have not occurred yet), can I add or make corrections to the roster at any time?
Yes! You may add or take off players from your roster/rooming list. All changes require a phone call to your sports travel representative by calling 407-939-7810 option #3. However, every player must complete a Sports Waiver Form prior to arrival (minors must have a parent or legal guardian's signature) and purchase a package.
Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses
What type of equipment will Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses provide?
Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses will provide each participant with (1) bucket of range balls in association with each golf round. In addition, teams will be using golf carts with state-of-the-art GPS technology that offers realistic images of course fairways, greens and hazards.
Who is allowed to operate the Golf Carts at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses?
In order to operate a golf cart at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses, a participant must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver's license/learner's permit. Any participant that does not meet the age requirement will not be permitted to operate a golf cart and will need a person of proper age to drive along with them.
Can I arrange private golf lessons for individual players or a team clinic?
Yes, Disney's team of PGA instructors is available to help you can hone your skills. You can schedule individual lessons or a team clinic for an additional fee. Each lesson is expertly customized to your experience level to ensure maximum improvement in the time you've set aside to fine-tune your game.

Are there clubs and equipment available to rent from Walt Disney World® ResortGolf Courses?
Enjoy exceptional Titleist® and Cobra® clubs and FootJoy® shoes—all at a caliber comparable to those used by professional golfers. Men's and women's clubs are available in standard sizes, offering a powerful enhancement to your game with optimal comfort in every swing. You can also select from a wide range of shoe sizes to get your game off on the right foot.

What type of attire is appropriate during our time at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses?
In order to provide the best possible putting surfaces, Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses are non-metal spike facilities. Golf shoes with metal spike alternatives, or tennis shoes, are permitted.
Proper golf attire is also required on all our golf courses. For men, this includes polo-style shirts with collars, turtlenecks or mock turtleneck shirts, slacks or Bermuda-length shorts. For women, proper attire consists of polo-style shirts with collars or other suitable shirts or blouses with or without collars, slacks, skirts or Bermuda-length shorts.
Can I leave my team's equipment in storage at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses?
No. There will not be any storage space available. Teams are responsible for transporting their equipment each day and watching it in between rounds.
Will shower facilities be available for my team at the conclusion of our final day at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses?
Locker room facilities are available at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses. Use of the locker room facilities is subject to availability.
Will there be athletic trainers onsite?
No. No Athletic trainers will be available at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses. Teams should make their own arrangements for any athletic training needs. However, there will always be medical staff available for wound and emergency care.
Transportation
Do I need to arrange transportation while I'm visiting Walt Disney World® Resort?
No, If staying at Disney's All Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort it is not necessary to arrange transportation. Disney's Magical Express is now available. This program provides transportation to and from Orlando International Airport to any Disney Resort.
Also available this year is transportation to and from the Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses and Disney's All-Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Transportation via taxi to and from Disney's All-Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is provided at no charge. You may request a ride at the Valet Desk or from Bell Services at Resort hotels, and in the Pro Shop or from any golf operations staff members at the Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses.
If you do not choose to stay at Disney's All Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort you will need to arrange for your own transportation to and from Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses. As always, there are complimentary Disney buses available to transport players, coaches and spectators to and from Disney Resorts and between Disney theme park and attractions.
Food/Dining/Catering
Can I arrange for a private team banquet or party on Disney property during our stay?
Yes. Please call 407-939-1389 and a Catering & Convention Service Manager will assist you in arranging a special event that will meet your team's needs.
Can I arrange for a team meal on Disney property during our stay?
Yes! You may call 407.WDW.DINE to make a reservation for your team.
Can I arrange for a catered team meals at Walt Disney World® Resort Golf Courses during our stay?
There will be no catered meals at the golf courses.
Teams and Players
Is there a limit to the number of players that I can bring on my team?
No. There is no limit on roster size. However, all players and coaches will need to purchase the minimum travel package in order to participate.
Can I bring/allow some J.V. players to participate with my Varsity team?
Yes. However, it is the coach's responsibility to ensure that all of his/her state's rules and regulations are being followed.
GotSport.Com
What is this online program?
GotSport is an online registration and scheduling program. In 2013, all teams will be required to register using this system.
What is required to be filled out for my team?
Coaches must full out the Application & Team Information tab. Additional sections will need to be updated at a later date: Roster & Rooming List (due 60 days prior to arrival) and Merchandise (pre-orders due by February 1, 2013).
How do I get a login ID and password?
Each team creates their own personalized login ID and password during the registration process. (Separate logins must be created for each team and sport).
What do I do if I forget my login ID and password?
Assistance is available online to retrieve forgotten login information. Follow this link to the log in page gotsport.com. If necessary, you may contact a member of the Golf Sales team for additional assistance at 407-938-3236.
