Registration for 2014 Disney Field Hockey Showcase will open on August 1, 2013 at 10 am. For more information, please call 407-938-3439. Please note, if your club is registering more than one team for Disney Field Hockey Showcase, a separate/unique username is required for each team you plan to register.

This is a USA Field Hockey sanctioned event. All teams must be members in good standing of a club recognized as a Club Member of USA Field Hockey at time of application. All participating players and coaches must also be registered members of USA Field Hockey. A player must be a USA Field Hockey member in good standing and identify their USA Field Hockey club affiliation to be eligible to participate with that club in any USA Field Hockey event or USA Field Hockey sanctioned event. All coaches listed on the roster must have Basic Coach Memberships, in accordance with USA Field Hockey guidelines. Please note, memberships will be verified on the team application and team rosters. Admission is required for all of your team’s coaches, athletes and spectators visiting ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Admission tickets may be purchased at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Box Office upon arrival.

On-Site Transportation
On-site transportation to and from ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is provided for teams staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. If your team is staying at any other resort or hotel, you will need to arrange for transportation to and from ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. All teams must provide their own transportation to and from off-site venues.**
*Disney's Magical Express is not available if your team will not be staying at a Hotel of the Walt Disney World Resort.
**On-site transportation is a courtesy service and does not guarantee arrival times. Please plan accordingly when travelling to for competition.

Your team's coach is required to attend a mandatory coaches' meeting. Schedule details will be available closer to the event.

Waivers
All of your participants appearing on the roster (coaches, athletes, staff, etc.) must sign an event waiver. Waivers may be downloaded at the links below, and all waivers must be presented at team check-in when you arrive for Disney Field Hockey Showcase.

Rules
Participants must be in compliance with USA Field Hockey rules. Please review the tournament rules for the 2014 Disney Field Hockey Showcase.
Roster
Your team roster must be completed by December 26, 2013 and include all members of your traveling team. Teams that do not complete a roster may have to be removed from the event. Rosters missing any USFHA membership numbers will be viewed as incomplete and therefore discarded. In addition, any rosters not submitted or changed after January 1, 2014 may not be included in the event program.
Players that are eligible to be added to your team roster are determined by the following USA Field Hockey guidelines for 2013/2014.

Your team and its athletes are responsible for knowing and following the official tournament rules, available via the link below.
Waiver
Teams are required to submit all of their signed waivers when checking in on-site at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Please do not mail and/or fax waivers in advance.
- 2013 Adult Disney Field Hockey Showcase Waiver
- 2013 Minor Disney Field Hockey Showcase Waiver
- Before distributing these forms, the coach should print the Team Name and Division in the "Event Information" section on the form.
- Photocopy the number of forms you require.
- Rosters are limited to 20 athletes and 3 coaches. All athletes and coaches are required to submit a signed waiver.
- All minors (under age 18) must have a parent or legal guardian sign the "Release and Indemnity" section.
- The Coach is responsible for photocopying, distributing, collecting, and returning all waivers.
Please make sure to make copies of all waivers before submitting, and bring them to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on the day of Team Registration. Do not mail or fax in advance.
Guest Player Registration
Guest Player Eligibility to participate in USA Field Hockey Events:
- Clubs may have up to three (3) guest players per tournament per team.
- Guest players are members of the club they are affiliated with and are not considered members of the club they are participating with as a guest player.
- The guest player must be a USA Field Hockey player member in good standing.
- Guest players must be included on the official roster submitted at the start of the event. Guest players may not switch teams after the start of the tournament. The start of the tournament is when the first game begins; not when a particular team plays its first game.
How to enter the Guest Player Pool:
- Under Player Information, for the Player ID#, please use your USA Field Hockey ID
There is no fee to register as a guest player, but there is no guarantee that athletes who register for the guest player pool will be picked up by a team.
Teams are able to view/acquire registered guest players through their team account page, after the team has been accepted. Once logged in to your team account page, click on 2013 Disney Field Hockey Showcase in the tournament box. You will see the 'Guest' tab at the top of the screen. Click on the tab to access the pool of individual players and their information.
It is the responsibility of the team and selected guest player(s) to discuss in advance the opportunity of playing together the Disney Field Hockey Showcase.
Please note, per USA Field Hockey Rules, only three (3) guest players per team will be allowed at Disney Field Hockey Showcase.
Registration for the Guest Player Pool will open on August 1, 2013 at 10 am.

FAQs
General FAQs
Will there be college coaches at the Disney Field Hockey Showcase?
Yes. There will be college coaches from multiple colleges and universities in attendance throughout the tournament. To view past college coaches that have attended Disney Field Hockey Showcase, visit the College Coach Registration tab to view a list of schools from last year's Showcase.
What documents are required to participate?
All teams must upload a current roster to the USA Field Hockey website as well as be affiliated with USA Field Hockey. All players and coaches must sign waivers and turn them in at Registration to be eligible to participate at Disney Field Hockey Showcase.
What if I cancel my team?
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Please note, there are no refunds on your team entry fee. Depending on the cancellation date, you may be eligible for a refund on your travel package(s) through GET Travel.
What rules do you play by for this tournament?
Unless otherwise stated in the Rules section, the FIH rules will be in effect and govern play for all divisions in Disney Junior Field Hockey Showcase. Note: Failure to comply with the rules as outlined will be cause for match to be declared a forfeit.
Is there a limit of coaches and players for each team?
Yes. For this event, each team rosters are limited to 20 athletes and 3 coaches. Disney also allows an additional non-athlete (i.e., team parent) to receive a credential. Rosters missing any USFHA membership numbers will be viewed as incomplete and therefore discarded.
Can a single player register and still compete in the showcase?
Yes, guest players can register on our site under the Guest Player tab for free and be picked up by teams attending the showcase and looking for players. The guest player would still be affiliated with their original club. There is no guarantee, however, that guest players will be picked up.
Where do I get players and coach's credentials?
Players and coaches will be issued credentials for entrance into the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex at the team check in. All players and coaches must sign a waiver before they will be issued a credential.
When and how will I be notified of my schedule?
Preliminary schedules will be released at least two weeks prior to the tournament, and posted on the GotSport website. Final schedules will be available at Registration. For details on schedules, visit the "Schedule" tab.
How late will the games be on the last day?
We make every attempt to complete the last games by 3:00 pm. If you are traveling on Disney's Magical Express to Orlando International Airport, it's recommended to depart your hotel three hours prior to your scheduled flight. Please do not schedule a departing flight prior to 5 pm on the final day of the tournament, knowing that your team could play until 3pm.

ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Information
Will there be athletic trainers onsite?
During events, athletic trainers, provided by South Lake Hospital, are present at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and are able to respond to athlete injuries. Additionally, athletic trainers, provided by South Lake Hospital, may be available for preventative taping pre-event, subject to availability, at no cost, if athletes bring their own tape and pre-wrap. Taping kits may also be purchased at The ESPN Clubhouse Shop at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Taping required for the initial treatment of an injury sustained during event competition that has been handled by a South Lake Hospital athletic trainer is at no additional cost. For additional information or questions about athletic trainers at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, please call the South Lake Hospital Athletic Trainer program at (407) 938-1478.
If I play a game in the morning and at night, can I leave my team's equipment in storage at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex?
No. Due to the number of athletes competing at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, there will not be any storage space available. Teams are responsible for their own equipment at all times.
Where do I park for the Event?
Parking at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is complimentary. In the event ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex parking lot is filled to capacity, guests will be directed to alternate complimentary parking areas. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will provide guests with shuttle and bus transportation to and from the alternate complimentary parking areas.
How will inclement weather affect my schedule?
Adjustments to the schedules due to inclement weather will be made by the Tournament Director if necessary. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex reserves the right to modify and/or cancel daily events in the case of severe weather.
In the case of lightning or severe rain, all competition will be halted and all guests will be asked to proceed to the safety of the designated lightning shelters. The competition will resume when the weather clears, or be postponed to the following day.
Will shower facilities be available for my team at the conclusion of our competition on our final day at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex?
There are no shower or locker room facilities available at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Accommodations
Who needs to make reservations through GET Travel?
All athletes and coaches participating in Disney Field Hockey Showcase are required to purchase resort accommodations from GET Travel in accordance with the "Stay to Play" Policy. Please call GET Travel at 1-888-877-4445 (Option 3) or e-mail them at Info@GETTravel.com for more information.
GET Travel can also assist with all your travel needs including specially-priced Theme Park Tickets, air reservations and car/van rentals.
Please note all rooming lists will be cross checked with the Disney Sports Waiver Forms to verify the total number of credentials each team receives.
Do you offer special accommodations for family and fans?
Yes! Teams are able to book their accommodations for all family and fans through GET Travel.
Can the Multi-Day Disney Theme Park ticket in the package be upgraded to another ticket?
Yes it can! Your GET Travel Representative can explain the options for upgrading and help match the tickets that best fit specific needs during the trip. Disney World Water Park and Disney Quest tickets are also available.
Can I make changes to my rooming list after I have already submitted it?
Please call the assigned GET Travel Representative to make those changes before arrival for the tournament.
Will parents and other spectators have to pay admission into ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex if their team is playing?
Yes. Parking is complimentary but all spectators are required to purchase admission into ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Spectators may instead choose to purchase a Length of Event [LOE] pass that is valid for admission on all days of the tournament at a reduced price. LOE and general admission tickets are non-refundable/non-exchangeable, regardless of number of days your team competes.

Do I need to arrange transportation while I'm visiting ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex?
Yes. Teams will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex unless you are staying at a select Walt Disney World® Resort hotel. Contact your GET Travel Representative for details.
Transportation is available to and from Orlando International Airport with Disney's Magical Express to any Disney Resort. However, there will be NO tournament transportation to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex unless you are staying at a select Walt Disney World® Resort hotel.
As always, there are complementary Disney buses available to transport players, coaches and spectators to and from Walt Disney World® Resorts to any Walt Disney World® Theme Park and/or Water Park.
Is there food available at the Complex?
Concession and Merchandise stands will be open throughout ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
