After being accepted, this entry fee guarantees your position in Disney New Year's Baseball Classic. This entry fee will not be charged to your card until you have been accepted into the tournament, and covers all of the tournament benefits including:
After your team has been accepted and your entry fee processed, you are required to purchase rooms through the official travel provider of the tournament. Please see "Travel Packages" and "Hotel" for details.
APPLICATION AND REFUND PROCESS
A Baseball Sales Manager will review all applications and notify your team of its status as soon as possible.
Upon acceptance into the tournament, your team entry fee must be paid in full immediately to guarantee your spot. Entry fees are refundable up until October 18, 2013. Any cancellations after this date will forfeit their team entry fee.

Rooms are blocked at several hotels for all Disney Baseball event participants and spectators. All participants (athletes and coaches) are required to stay in one of the tournament hotels and must make their reservations through Anthony Travel, the official Travel Provider for this tournament. Please note: Failure to make your reservations through Anthony Travel will result in the removal of your team for this tournament.

The following competition venues will be used for the tournament:
All spectators are required to purchase admission into ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for either an individual daily admission or a length-of-event (LOE) pass that is valid for all days of the team's stay. LOE and daily admission tickets are non-refundable/non-exchangeable, regardless of number of days your team competes.
Daily admission: $16.00 (ages 10 & older) $11.00 (ages 3-9)
LOE admission: $32.00 (ages 10 & older) $22.00 (ages 3-9)
One rostered coach is required to attend registration at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Upon arrival, signs will direct you to the exact location. The team representative will verify birth certificates, rosters, and waivers, and receive the team's credentials for admission to the sports complex for the duration of the event.
On-Site Event Check-In will take place inside Champion® Stadium from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, December 28th.
There will not be a formalized coaches meeting, however the umpire and chief and tournament director will be availalbe at tournament registration to answer any questions.
Official Disney Baseball Roster must be filled out online with players name and uniform number. Please also list your coaches, bat boys/girls and scorekeeper.
Teams may change their rosters up until the first pitch of the first game, provided that the newly-added player(s) have purchased a participant package from Disney, and have turned in a copy of their birth certificate as well as a signed waiver.
No player shall be listed on more than one team roster. If a player is wrongly listed on more than one roster the Tournament Director shall determine which team the player may rightfully be eligible to play for and/or if the player in question is to be permitted to participate further in the tournament.
If it has been determined that a violation of this rule has transpired, penalties may include: player, coach and/or team disqualification(s) from the tournament and/or forfeiture of games played with ineligible players. No player can appear in a tournament game for more than one team.
Waivers MUST be completed by all athletes/coaches and faxed to 407-938-3442. In order to be on the field of play in this event, all athletes and coaches are required to complete a waiver form. Please follow the following process:

Before distributing these forms, the coach should print the Team Name & Division in the “Event Information” section on the form.
Photocopy the number of forms you require.
Teams may bring up to 20 players and four coaches, but all are required to purchase a participant package.
All minors (under age 18) must fill out a “minor” waiver, and have a parent or legal guardian sign the “Release and Indemnity” section.
The coach is responsible for photocopying, distributing, collecting, and returning all waivers.
Please bring all birth certificates and waivers to the on-site event check-in for reference.
Please fax all birth certificates to 407-938-3442 for Disney Baseball to review. All birth certificates must be received by Friday, November 29th. Player ages for the tournament are determined by the cutoff date of May 1, 2014.
All teams must have a copy of each player's birth certificate in their possession during the tournament.
Failure to meet any of these requirements will render a player ineligible to participate in the tournament. Any team found to be using an ineligible player would forfeit all Disney Baseball Tournament games in which the ineligible player has participated.
Yes, the bat rules for this event are as follows:
Disney youth Baseball Tournaments do not have a limit on the number of innings a player may pitch in a day.
Regardless of the age of the player during the Tournament the division is determined by how old the player will be on May 1, 2013. Acceptable player identification will include: photocopy of birth certificate, valid passport or valid driver's license. Any player who is unable to present acceptable identification when asked by a tournament official will be deemed ineligible.

No, the entry fee secures your team's spot in the event. It is not a deposit, nor does it go towards any accommodations.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and must be received 45-days prior to the tournament start day in order for the entry fee refund to be considered. Teams canceling after the tournament draw has been drafted will forfeit the entry fee. Participant credentials for player, Coaches or Bat Boy/Girl will be distributed at registration. Before a credential is issued, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex MUST have received the following in advance of your arrival:

Coaches must pick up credentials for the entire team at Team Registration. It is the responsibility of the coach to ensure that all team members are equipped with their credentials prior to entrance into the complex.
The credential specifies the areas of the sports complex participants and coaches can enter as well as the valid dates. Once received, credentials must be visible to gain admittance. Credentials are nontransferable and it is important all participants and coaches maintain possession of the credentials. If a credential is lost or stolen, it will be necessary to pay a replacement fee.
Yes! For this event each team may have up to 20 Athletes and no more than 4 Non-Players (Includes Coaches and bat boys/girls) on the field/in the dugout at any one time. Each player and coach must meet the minimum room requirement.
Yes, all teams must be prepared to begin play anytime on the first day of the tournament. Teams are encouraged to arrive the night before the event begins.
We make every attempt to complete the last games early in the afternoon. If you are traveling on Disney's Magical Express to Orlando International Airport, it's recommended to depart your hotel three hours prior to your scheduled flight. Please do not schedule a departing flight prior to 6 pm on the final day of the tournament, to allow yourself plenty of time to make it to the airport.
Approximately one week prior to the tournament start date an email will be sent to the coach or team contact confirming the time and place of the Coaches Meeting and team registration. The preliminary schedule will be posted on our website about one week prior to the tournament. The final schedule will be distributed at the mandatory coaches meeting following registration on the first morning of the tournament. Final bracket results will be available on the www.disneybaseball.com website.

During events, athletic trainers, provided by South Lake Hospital, are present at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and are able to respond to athlete injuries. Additionally, athletic trainers, provided by South Lake Hospital, may be available for preventative taping pre-event, subject to availability, at no cost, if athletes bring their own tape and pre-wrap. Taping kits may also be purchased at The ESPN Clubhouse Shop at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Taping required for the initial treatment of an injury sustained during event competition that has been handled by a South Lake Hospital athletic trainer is at no additional cost. No. Due to the number of athletes competing at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, there will not be any storage space available. Teams are responsible for their own equipment at all times.
Teams will be able to drop off equipment at the designated pick-up location and load the equipment onto an Equipment Pargo. It is recommended one team member escort the equipment to the Diamondplex or HESS® Sports Fields only. The Equipment Pargo is for transportation of equipment ONLY!
Parking at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is complimentary. In the event ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex parking lot is filled to capacity, guests will be directed to alternate complimentary parking areas. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex will provide guests with shuttle and bus transportation to and from the alternate complimentary parking areas.
Although our fields drain 5-7" of rain per hour, adjustments to the schedules due to rain will be made by the Tournament Director. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex reserves the right to modify and/or cancel daily events in the case of severe weather.
In the case of lightning or severe rain, all competition will be halted and all guests will be asked to proceed to the safety of the designated lightning shelters. The competition will resume when the weather clears, or be postponed to the following day. If games are postponed to the following day, they will be played after the completion of that days schedule.

There are no shower or locker room facilities available at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Teams are encouraged to display tasteful team banners on the dugout fence. The banner cannot contain any sponsor names that are in conflict with ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex sponsors. Disney reserves the right to remove any banner as circumstances dictate.
Concession and Merchandise stands will be open throughout ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
All participating players, coaches and bat boys/girls are required to purchase the minimum participant package. Please note all rooming lists will be cross checked with the Disney Sports Waiver Forms to verify the total number of credentials each team receives.

Yes! Parking is complimentary but all spectators are required to purchase admission into ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Daily admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is $16.00* for each adult and $11.00* for each child (ages 3-9). Spectators may instead choose to purchase a Length of Event [LOE] pass that is valid for admission on all days of the tournament at a reduced price. It is recommended that spectators purchase LOE passes in advance through the spectator packages offered or during registration to avoid long lines that often occur before the first game. LOE and general admission tickets are non-refundable/non-exchangeable, regardless of number of days your team competes. Spectator packages thru Disney Sports Travel include a Length of Event pass for each person. *All prices subject to change
There are limited buses that go to the sports complex, but teams are encouraged to have their own transportation arranged to and from the complex for their games.
